Hollywood and the work gang were in Sydney for a work visit and decided to drop by the original Mary’s in Newtown for some good old fried chicken

This place is grungy as can be. It boasts some awesome burgers and some fried chicken along with other sides

We ordered a big bunch of burgers with fries and a whole bird to share along some cool Sam Adams

The fried chicken was truely crispy however was a bit more on the greasy side. It was freshly cooked and steamy however lacked a bit in the flavour…

…However that is where the hot sauce came in to save the day

Overall, the chicken was good however needed the hot sauce to deliver that extra kick. The real heroes at Mary’s are the burgers. Go for those and you will definitely be a winner
