Close to work and always displaying those Melbourne Fried Chicken wings. An invitation to sink Hollywood’s teeth into some crunchy fried chicken
Although the look of the chicken was appealing and the accompanying chipotle mayo alongside with the fries was superb, the chicken was a bit old and oily. Also lacking of the right spices. This chicken just didnt have the right feel.

Another stop for Hollywood in Sydney and with a hunger to conquer it was time to see if Movida Sydney Airport stacked against Melbourne Fried Chicken
This chicken really looked the look. It was so crispy and inviting and was cooked fresh. It was piping hot and very crunchy. For a second I thought this was heaven
Unfortunately Movida’s fried chicken wasnt spiced enough and was a bit oily.
Movida at Sydney Airport didnt deliver anything special. It was average and could do with much better spices. We would give this a miss

The Friday funks crew were out for some good lunch at the Arbory where Hollywood decided it was finally time to try their fried chicken burger to see how it stacks against other Melbourne Fried Chicken
Although this fried chicken burger looks the looks it didn’t really satisfy the taste. It chicken itself was a bit smaller than the bun and wasn’t spiced enough
It was a bit mayo-saucy but it didnt really deliver much flavours. A bit more spices for the chicken and chipotle mayo would’ve done the trick
Arbory is a good flashy joint, however next time Hollywood will just stick to the good old double cheese burger

We revisited Sam Sam for some good old Korean Melbourne Fried Chicken in an ultra red theme! Sam Sam is always a good easy contender with big servings. This time we did however decide to try out their Bibimbap.
We went for a full boneless chicken of the original and soy and garlic flavours. There was of course a whole lotta chips
The bibimbap on the other hand was average compared to others we’ve had. However a good amount of well cooked rice always sits well with Hollywood!
Sam Sam is your typical Korean fried chicken done well. The pieces are small and not spiced but the accompanying sauces do give you the different flavours.
