We were visiting our favourite Rockwell and Sons (on a non Fried Chicken night) and to our surprise we saw fried chicken on the menu so we decided to give that dish a good old Melbourne Fried Chicken review

The chicken on the menu was a salt and pepper fried chicken with honey and pickled chilli.

This chicken was ok. It was only drumsticks which is not Hollywood’s favourite piece and it was more on the sweeter side. Nevertheless it was fresh cooked however It doesn’t really compare to their staple fried chicken which we assume is still on.

The other staple that drove us to come here in the first place which is the double patty smash and that was still good as always

Overall, we weren’t a fan of the sweet fried chicken drumsticks but we still love Rockwell for their burgers, sides and Wednesday night Melbourne Fried Chicken
